The aim of the project here is to develop the nanopore-based enzymatic biosensor for the detection of analytes. We introduce a concept of the simple and versatile method of nanopores formation on the electrode using non-conductive polystyrene nanoparticles. The variability in pore size will be modulated by nanoparticle diameter. This proposed biosensor contributes to the basic knowledge about nanoporous sensors with the potential in the development of “point of care” devices.
